Privacy & Compliance

Understand browser processing, data sovereignty, and privacy tradeoffs when text, audio, and AI voice tools handle sensitive content.

Why these articles are grouped together

Map the actual data path before using sensitive material

Privacy is not established by the word “offline.” Separate website delivery, analytics, model downloads, browser storage, text preprocessing, speech inference, export files, and third-party links. Each component can have a different operator and retention rule.

For OfflineTTS, local Supertonic and English Kokoro workflows differ from supported non-English Kokoro languages that use the phonemization endpoint. Generated audio remains on the device unless the user uploads or shares it, while ordinary hosting and analytics requests are covered by the Privacy Policy.

These articles offer technical and operational questions, not legal certification. Organizations handling regulated, privileged, or personal data should apply their own contracts, consent rules, security controls, jurisdictional analysis, and deletion procedures.
